Insurance designed specifically for those engaged in organised
winter sports exercises, including members of Alpine and Nordic skiing teams.

Insured Activities:

Winter sports skiing including training for and competing in Biathlon, Alpine and Nordic competition.

Cover and Limits – per each insured person:

Medical, Repatriation Expenses and Rescue Up to £2,500,000

Payment of expenses for emergency medical treatment outside the UK following accidental injury or illness including necessary rescue, repatriation and other travel and accommodation expenses.

Activity Equipment:

Alpine / Nordic Skiing Equipment up to £1,000 (max £600 per set of skis)
Biathlon Rifles Up to £1,500
Including cover whilst in use

Cancellation and Curtailment Up to £5,000

Refund of pre-paid travel and accommodation costs following the cancellation of a trip due to an insured event.

Personal Accident Up to £10,000 or £50 per week (up to a max of 104 weeks)

A benefit paid in the event of death or loss of limbs/sight, permanent total disablement or temporary total disablement following accidental injury.

Personal Liability Up to £2,000,000

Cover for legal liability in the event of accidental injury or death to third parties or damage to third party property.

Principal Exclusions

This insurance does not cover the following:

a) The first £50 of each loss for Medical, Activity Equipment and Cancellation.
b) Standard issue kit or any personal property*.
c) Any serious, chronic or recurring medical condition which has required medical advice or treatment in the 6 months before you took out this insurance and/or booked a trip.
d) Unattended equipment unless in locked accommodation or store room
e) Use of damaged skis.
