Day 2 Paris(included).
An included day in Paris. To make the most of your day in the‘city of lights’, why not join our optional guided sightseeing tour which takes in the famous Eiffel Tower, Arc de Triomphe,Champs Élysées, Place de la Concorde and Notre Dame Cathedral. For a different view of the city, there’s an optional leisurely hour-long River Seine cruise, complete with English commentary, that drifts past elegant buildings and beneath historic bridges.
Day 3 Versailles and Montmartre (optional).
We begin at the impressive Château and Gardens of Versailles, originally created for Louis XIV. Enjoy the regal splendour, the Église Notre-Dame, and the Lambinet Museum (Château admission is extra, approx. €15-20 per person). We return to Paris, to the Montmartre area, with its quaint atmosphere, artists’ colony, galleries and, of course, the Basilica of the Sacré Coeur. If you prefer, you can spend the day exploring Paris independently.
Your hotel
You’ll stay for three nights at the 3-star Quality Hotel Le Cardinal in Rueil Malmaison on the western outskirts of Paris. The hotel has a breakfast room, bar and lift. All bedrooms have T.V., telephone, hairdryer and air-conditioning. |
