Forces Financial is back on the road with a new car insurance product for HM forces in Cyprus
Forces Financial have reintroduced car insurance for their customers in Cyprus by forming a partnership with Cypriot company, Cosmos Insurance Company Public Ltd, ensuring this service is available in their branches once again.
Forces Financial MD said,
“We were really disappointed last year when Norwich Union, our car insurance provider at the time, decided to withdraw its product from Cyprus after many years of service to the Forces community. I know this was a great inconvenience to our car-owning clients who consequently had to find alternative cover locally. I have heard from service personnel across the island that this was far from satisfactory, and our branch staff were continually being asked when would we reinstate the cover.
Forces Financial clients with a UK passport or HM Forces ID Card have the choice of third party or fully comprehensive cover with premium discounts available on a second car insured. Benefits include a 24 hour claims service, discounts on proof of no claims and free Personal Accident cover for fully comprehensive policyholders.

If a customer's car currently has UK registration then Forces Financial can insure the car using the full chassis number. However it is the customer's responsibility to complete the correct paperwork to register the vehicle with the SBA Customs, Cypriot Customs & the Cypriot Department of Transport, and then advise Cosmos of the new Cypriot number plate
